Every game should be completely remappable. Only e-sports / competitions should be up for debate on forcing the same control scheme.
In AC: Origins, you could completely customize your controller.
In AC: Odyssey, you get to choose between two control schemes.
This immediately makes the game significantly less enjoyable. Especially if some buttons are difficult or uncomfortable for people.

It's legitimately making me want to give up the game in the first 5 minutes. I am so frustrated.

This has absolutely nothing to do with grinding. I am talking about controls. Also, apparently there are no EXP issues if you do side quests. Which are a huge part of AC.
