I think it's just a sarcastic response to the amount of people that CLAIM they hate small talk as if they're incredibly unique and everyone else in the world is boring and talks about nothing. Not actually referring to people who simply, quietly, don't actively make small talk.
Ah. The lack of the context of those specific threads definitely made it seem like her point was missed.
For real tho, during my two weeks on Tinder, the amount of people that put a line like that in their profile was absurd.
And they'd go in with the "hi send nudes baby??"
