Kitty ear confusion. There's this slightly yellow crusty stuff and a few blood spots in and around her ears. It doesn't look dark like ear mites do. Does anyone know what this is, before I start looking for a vet?pic.twitter.com/0rWRSZoqNQ

I don't have vet experience but I have experience with my cat Dorian. He would shake his head a lot and scratch in that same spot in front of his ears until they were bloody. It was always ear mites or food allergies. If you haven't changed her diet lately, my money's on mites.

Could be! I was so surprised when my vet told me that changing food or being in a new environment could cause allergies and symptoms can show up in their ears. The vet gave me antibiotic ear drops to fix him right up!
