Now that I think about it, years ago I used to be attacked when I would do the dishes. The only thing that helped was getting one of those toys attached to a stick and elastic string stuck through my belt loops. Basically giving the cat something else to attack besides my calf.
No, after a few weeks the attacking just stopped. Could have been due to growing up, or just not being so sensitive to the sounds, or maybe she just found something better to do. I'm not sure.
