Hmm. That's fair. Are you able to spend more time with her at store? Do they maybe have a quiet room you could sit with her for half an hour or so? That may help you start to see her personality and quirks. Even our cat who hates being held doesn't mind for short periods or time.
In the pet store, unfortunately not really? they tried to take her into the back room yesterday but she was extremely stressed out. The store is open for 12 hours a day!! But I am going to inquire at the shelter about fostering her, possibly long-term, with the intent to adopt
