I am making this tweet so I have the fear of public shame should I fail. Woke up from my nap today and I am at a whopping 240 pounds (70 overweight) Im not happy with myself and it is time to actually fix it. I am going to hate these next few months but I need to do it.
But also, things like this shouldn't be entirely based on fear or shame. Fear of living a short life due to this might push you in terms of self discipline. But what gets you through the toughest days is self love, discipline, seeing your progress, FEELING your progress.

Knowing that you're making changes to better your health helps so much mentally, which also affects you physically. Right now I've been stuck at the same weight while working hard for a month, which STINKS, but my body feels so great from going to yoga daily, I want to do moar

Depending on what you're doing exactly it could be the situation of gaining muscle mass while losing fat. It might not feel like progress to the weight goals, but it's definitely an improvement.
