Seeing streamers lead on donators with promises of a potential romantic relationship just to receive more money is pretty shitty. Stop doing that.

It hurts to see viewers I have actually taken on as real friends be used by people for their financial support. I understand getting paid, but you can be someone's friend without breaking their heart and lying.
And if you're not interested in being someone's friend, that's fine too. They're tipping because they like your content. They're not paying for quality time, 1 on 1 attention, or a private friendship. It's hard enough to establish proper lines without other people blurring them.

Unless the relationship is negotiated and consent has been given on both sides for a sugar daddy/mommy relationship. However, I am pretty sure no one that I know is ok with that. They actually thought the streamers loved them and wanted to be with them.

Either way, the type of "relationship" you're describing is disgusting and toxic and I hope those people realized the streamers were lying
