I went to a sports bar the other day to watch a WC soccer game. None of mtly co workers showed up. Sitting all alone at a big table in the corner, I felt like everyone was looking at me the whole time. And the waitresses kept ignoring and forgetting about me. Oh manager!
Going to a restaurant alone, every server acts SO DAMN AWKWARD. I'm not there because I want you to entertain me or something. We're not trying to become best friends over the course of one meal. Just feed me please T__T

Amen. While there are exceptions to this rule, more often than not, I am there to get food ate and get on with life. And the times that are exceptions... I find it easiest to sit at the bleedin bar.
