The reason reason we got caught in renovation hell came out today. The guy that's been doing most of the work is mad. He is trying to get back at his employers by doing bad work. My place is one of three to be messed with. Now the owner is going to do our grout work. AYY. :(

If the employee is holding the customer as collateral for anger against the boss, he is probably angry over something petty. I think that is grounds to sue

There is nothing *I* can sue over. Owner's business is his own, but he's definitely mad at the labour lol. I can only demand that the work is re-done, properly, according to contract and standards. It's just going to take weeks more than we all hoped.
