She's not complaining, she is drawing attention to the issue. Good for your for paying off your debt. But for most low & (some) middle income students like myself the ONLY way to pay for college is to get student loans. We aren't asking for a handout--just manageable debt.

Yikes! I started in the six figures too. At USC Law as a transfer student I had to pay full price. At the time they didn’t give grants or scholarships to transfer students. Upon arrival, I joined students to raise scholarship $ that transfer students would qualify for.

Heartbreaking. But... I worked part time while in college and managed to get an engineering degree and graduate debt free. I guess things are different now...
