Unemployment dropped from 15% down to 5.1% during the 8 years previous to Trump. More jobs were created in 2016 than 2017. Trump has done a great job with the stock market tho. But then again any stock will increase value if they get a tax cut. No real productivity added.

The biggest issue for Dems: Repubs give huge tax brakes to the wealthy, then cry "OMG. The Deficit!" & try to kill all "entitlement" programs. And could we stop calling them "entitlements" rather than the "earned services" they are?. Words matter.

I’m a former Democratic Committeeman actually. I resigned when I could no longer stand how far left the party had moved and how out of touch it was with the middle-class people we were supposed to represent. It’s really a shame that this party has completely folded at this point.
