No dear that's wrong. A clearance can be reactivated for up to 2 years after someone leaves the employment it was required for. If their job in the civilian world required them have a clearance, the security manager at the civilian company, would request that it stay active.

Comey and clapper have (today) and previously(clapper) I know have stated they were read out and no longer have their clearances... I'd conjecture in the next 24 hours Brennan and McCabe will confirm the same

Besides the info Trump is pissed over is stuff they knew before Trump was inaugurated... taking clearance now doesn't change that. This is his attempted get back for it getting out he saw irrefutable evidence that Putin ordered the hack on the election..
