your restaurant & wish we could do more to support businesses like yours. What I cannot do is jail people because of their addiction or double down on the failed war on drugs. We need to make it easier to get help than it is to get high in SF.

Why is the immediate response around jail...? A friend of mine accidentally walked off a path in Big Sur and did 20 hrs of community service and 5 hrs of morality training. Can we try other measures...?

Dude....no. These are not 3rd graders that clowned around in class and are staying for detention. These are hardened criminals - death dealers, most with little to no conscience and absolutely zero regard for your life or safety.
