In normal times sure but maybe just maybe we have some Republicans feeling that another 4 years under Trump will quite literally be the end of our democracy. Period.

Sure I’ll take their votes but our efforts should be focused on our voters. We have the votes to win in our own party. This is why the pandering doesn’t make sense to me.

This is not a normal convention, or a normal election cycle. There is a specific focus on the folks (moderates) who may need the push...Progressives don’t need that.
