Hey everyone thank you for all your advice and sounding the alarm that something could be wrong. I just dropped him off at the vet. Significant weight loss, loss in appetite is not normal. Here is to hoping all he needs is different food.

Friskees cans and 9 lives cans are good too. Get a variety, pate and gravies. If he's losing weight it might be time to take him to the vet.
My first suggestion is to get his teeth checked they may be sore
Try a different texture than you'd usually buy. Some cats like chunks, some cats like the pate.
It might be a texture issue! My picky cat hated the "chunk" version but loved the pate version.
Oh hates pate. Gives me that look of what did I do to deserve this.
The cheaper the better unfortunately. When trying to catch feral cats, the aspca suggested I use 9 lives. Very smelly cat junk food. They lived it.
