This, we also need to make it so congresspeople are still working class people. There is no need for lavish fundraisers, their salary is paid by taxpayers, they need to live withing that range.

OK, then ban all donations over $500, only one donation per voter registered in state, out of state donations banned directly or indirectly and each candidate can only purchase 25 minutes of air time each on TV and radio.
