it took years in WA before we didn't have buy stamps, so i'm not outraged by this. to get around the need for stamps, we have ballot boxes where people can drop off their ballots for free.

I hear you. Oregon just started providing postage & we’ve been voting by mail longer than any other state. We have a lot of ballot drop-off sites, including all public libraries. Postal service might not be reliable in a couple months. Better to have drop-off locations all over.

In Oregon there are drop boxes where postage is not required.
