I’ve been repaying my student loans for a 2-yr computer degree from ITT Tech since 2005. So far, I’ve paid $65,000 towards the $45,000 loan. I still owe $25,000. 6 years to go. $90,000 total over 20 years for a two-year degree. I have never missed a payment. Relief sounds good.

I only paid mine off last year, but I got lucky it seems. It was only ever $10K and I went to a state school in CA, used FAFSA due to parents' income, and tuition was only ever $1,400 a semester. I would have still loved some relief.

Exactly. Becareful when you put loans in forbearance. I did so during my postdoc & interest accumulated. $45,000 for grad school. (Last 3 yrs).First 2 I did w/o. I owe still owe $75k because I’ve only been paying the min since 1998. Yes I’m screwed. I’ve resigned myself to it.
