Muslims are an integral part of America and should therefore be integral to the operation of the government. It's as simple as that. The same goes for every American. We ALL deserve a voice, and it's strong, fearless politicians like you who'll give it to us.

We need more Muslims in government so narrow-minded people like that individual can begin to see that the people they are so quick to label as “Other” are in fact just as human and just as vital to our communities and our country as those who “look like” themselves.
