    This would be a blow to many, i have been using it to have a better picture of incidents in Afghanistan & have been looking into. An affordable way for researchers & investigative journalists.

    Terraserver, which has been a cheap option for those online open source investigators looking for recent satellite imagery, is now shutting down. It'll be a real blow to investigators who can't afford more expensive options.

    This kind of reporting epitomises the American view and value of Yemeni lives as being unimportant, worthless. We as journalists are shaping a narrative used by politicians that makes it perfectly okay to keep killing the never mentioned. We should be ashamed of ourselves.
