There's no good way to say something that's wrong. The mask protects them, and if they've been good at protecting themselves they won't infect anyone else either.
Yes, but there aren't enough valved N95s for everyone. You can still do as some doctors do and wear an ordinary mask over the valve to filter exhalations.

I didn't struggle to get my respirators - as long as you're comfortable with the comparable KN95 standard there is plenty of stock. I do accept your point though, stocks are generally low.

It's hard to tell, though, whether one really has a good mask or whether it's a scam. Nothing wrong with the KN95 standard, but there are a lot of scammers in the world, and a lot of factories that have suddenly entered the business.

I should add that where I am, I rarely see a mask at all (maybe 1/50 people wear them), I'm very much in the minority. So around here it seems people don't care how I exhale.
