Is there a polite non-obnoxious, non-shaming, (and non-violating social distance rules) to tell people in Costco that their valved N95 masks are not helping at all and they should find other masks?
She's worthy of respect, but I don't think she's ever explicitly said that masks don't filter on the way in, and it's such a silly thing to say that she probably wouldn't ever. Filtering on the way in is still helping with disease transmission.

The entire point is that they need to be filtering *on the way out* as well. That's the key point that makes them useful.

They're more useful if they filter on the way out too, but filtering on the way in isn't "not helping at all", which is the language I objected to.
