Still, union law isn't well suited for high-skilled workers. Yale grad students found that out the hard way when they tried to do a "grade strike" and were told by the court that that was illegal.

The reason is that you're not allowed to do a partial strike: you have to strike in the most complete and brutal way possible, and there are no other options. Because doing a partial strike would be usurping management's role, which is inappropriate for serfs like you.
