Because sometimes stories in newspapers are just *that* obvious. (This is a parody account clearly not associated with any newspaper.)

I got nothing for those one, folks. You're on your own.

If doctors treat the vulva as an under-appreciated city, they see the clitoris as a local roadside bar: little known, seldom considered, probably best avoided. "It's completely ignored by pretty much everyone," a sexual health specialist said. nyti.ms/3N05S9r

The actual article is tragicomically terrible. Reporters went out an interviewed random people, both pro-Roe and anti-Roe, and concluded that all of them, regardless of their views of the outcome of Dobbs, are upset the court is too politicized.

Red Hook, an isolated Brooklyn enclave that resembles a forgotten seaside town, seems to be every New Yorker’s favorite neighborhood. At least for an afternoon. And not in flood season. nyti.ms/35yFH8z

Wow: The New York Times does a deep dive on smoking and finds that some young people smoke cigarettes as an act of rebellion and because it looks cool nytimes.com/2022/01/12/sty

So it appears that @maggieNYT & @nytmike wrote a profile of John Eastman, Trump's coup lawyer, but didn't recount his long record of extremist activity. Since they omitted this crucial information, here's a short thread of what's missing in this article nytimes.com/2021/10/02/us/

It gets harder to justify giving subscriber money to a newspaper that considers Robby Soave's vaccine misinformation worthy of the lead spot on the Opinions page.

NEW: NYT columnist David Brooks draws a second salary for leading an Aspen Institute project funded by Facebook, Jeff Bezos' dad, & others. He didn't disclose this to readers. The Times refused to say if the paper was aware of Brooks' second salary: buzzfeednews.com/article/craigs

The ed board just wrote the dumbest shit I have ever seen committed to text. You want to know why elite institutions are utterly failing in the face of a white nationalist insurgence? Look no further. Every braindead DC dysfunction, right here.

The Times found a horse trainer who lives in Minnesota and had to do a soft-profile Trump feature on her, while lending credence to all of her conspiracy theory beliefs. How in the world do they keep doing this?

Many Trump loyalists think Democrats were out to get him from the start, and now, to them, a second impeachment is confirming their views. Trump may be gone but Trumpism and all its grievances are still out there. Comments are now open on this story nytimes.com/2021/01/27/us/

Jay's law: all news reports about "dueling realities" that ask "why are we so divided?" should instead be framed as: how did the Republican Party and its supporters wind up here? Then you can talk about dwelling in different worlds. twitter.com/AP/status/1353 via

She thinks the election was stolen from Donald Trump. He believes what dozens of courts and officials have found: that Joe Biden is the rightful winner. They're trying to find common ground but wonder whether they – and the nation – can do it. apne.ws/H3X0TOv

Rudy Giuliani was a major player in a months'-long effort to undermine American democracy and encourage a coup. He's still lying about the election. The Times: He's "unrestrained."

His president and No. 1 client, Donald J. Trump, is no longer in office. But Rudolph W. Giuliani still has a voice, amplified by a 50,000-watt radio station in Midtown Manhattan. And there, Mr. Giuliani is his usual, unrestrained self. by @Azi nytimes.com/2021/01/24/nyr

I don't think ABC News knows why it participates in election denialism this way. (People who follow me say ratings, I doubt the ratings would change at all if the Big Lie came off the board.) But there's no question that Rand Paul knows why he does it:

How does the New York Times write an article about Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert without mentioning her four arrests and court no-shows? Without mentioning her husband’s arrests for exposing himself and domestic abuse?

Incredible to think the country functioned, more or less, as 44 presidents governed without Twitter. How ever did the president communicate with the public?

I have to ask a serious question about a paragraph in this article (though many of the paragraphs warrant scrutiny). There is a lot going on with the sourcing and the reporting, but take a look at this. /1
