100 years wasn't that long ago in terms of overcoming this stuff. My grandparents were young when some of these victims died. Look around at today's inmates - mostly poor and black or brown - and whites profiting from their labor. Nothing has changed.

I wrote a huge paper in college that essentially exposed the "For-profit Wisconsin Prison system". I never saw that doc or the USB it was on again after submitting it. And was indicted on drug charges and arrested one hour before, in route to my college graduation.
