❗️ATTN boaters in the Adirondack Park and w/in 10 mi. of the Blue Line: all motorized watercraft operators are now required to self-certify that they've cleaned, drained, & dried boats and gear before launching or to receive a certification from a boat steward prior to launching.

In the coming weeks, they will start to leave their dens with their mother for the first time. The mom will have her kits, typically 2-3, in tow to teach them how to forage for food and to get their first experience away from the tree cavity.
