Everyone keeps saying he was mentally ill, but no where in the 911 calls is that mentioned. There are only calls stating that there is a man with a gun. The police responded to that. It's a tragedy, no doubt there, but unlike other police involved shootings, this looks clear cut

And what if one of the people her did that to had a gun? Then this story wouldn't even be around today. He would have gotten shot by another person on the street and the story would be gone

It is sad that this man was so unstable and he suffered a terrible fate for it. God bless the officers involved and we are glad they did not get hurt.

Terrible that no one got this man the help he very clearly needed PRIOR to this. Perhaps then, this tragedy could’ve been avoided. Sadly, most don’t want to help the mentally ill. Just use them as talking points AFTER stuff like this happens.
