UPDATE: Earlier this evening Officers responded to a call for a shoplifter inside of 100 W 125. When police approached the suspect, he charged them with a knife.pic.twitter.com/S4HJv8FVkH

#UPDATE: Officers gave several commands to drop the knife, one officer discharged 2 rounds striking the suspect once. The knife was recovered and the suspect is in stable condition at an area hospital.pic.twitter.com/DCEyNDHusC
