Seems like common sense, but a lot of people do this. They feel 'safe' in their environment and don't think anyone is nearby that will steal their vehicle. If your windows are open that's even worse, someone can grab cash, credit cards, etc. left exposed in the vehicle.
We know it's still cold outside but it's not ok to leave you car unattended while it's turned on warming up.
Be smart and keep your car safe.
