Connecting w/the community is one thing+a good thing, but being carpenters and laborers is another thing entirely. This kind of stuff should be referred to a more appropriate agency. I'm sorry, #NYPD should be doing what they were hired for + what they do best ACTUAL POLICE WORK.

Exactly.The NCOs can assist with getting response from appropriate agencies, but 4 POs shouldn’t be doing waste removal and construction.
