At approx. 4:30am today members of the Emergency Service Division were conducting a search warrant at 230 Brook Ave, Bronx. Upon entering the apartment officers went to a rear bedroom where they were confronted by a man brandishing a machete type knife with a 2’ blade.pic.twitter.com/OuMeQn6Dyr

They could miss a body shot. The fella had a maschete, so a none fatal shot like a stun gun but no they prefer murder

No it wouldn't. A machete is highly lethal therefore, lethal force is called for due to the bad guy's actions. To stop a threat you shoot for center mass until the threat stops. You guys got a lesson in that in the 1770s.
