Officers approached this man because he was selling candy on a platform in violation of MTA rules. He refused multiple requests for ID, eliminating a summons or warning as options. When officers tried to take him into custody, he refused to be cuffed. We're reviewing the incident

Give me a break. This is ridiculous excessive force. For candy? Punishable crimes were being committed all around you. 4 officers for candy? You should all be embarrassed and ashamed as well as fired.

The fact that an officer has given a lawful order is sufficient to comply no matter the petty offense. The fact that people have time to question an officer not only shows the lack of moral but how defying an officer is becoming more and more socially acceptable.

Bad officers. Unless the food is tainted. The police are protecting you. They are doing a job. The provide protection. If a hundred people got sick from poison added or just prepared in an unsanitary environment I guess it would be bad Police for not protecting you.
