Around 650pm, 2 uniformed officers in the Bronx approached a man who had just broken the window of a vehicle. When the officers attempted to take him into custody, a struggle ensued. The suspect repeatedly said “I have a gun, (EXPLETIVE) die” (gun pictured below)pic.twitter.com/y4GcvWlZ9b

One officer discharged his firearm twice, striking the suspect. A loaded 9mm gun was recovered. Body-worn camera footage from one officer captured him saying that the subject had the gun pointed at his chest.

Capturing your officer saying the suspect was armed is not the same as capturing the suspect *being* armed, which is the footage we are actually interested in seeing, because it confirms what your officer is saying.

I think if they had that exonerative material they would've released it already. Clear that they either don't have it, or it shows worse things about them. Either way, seems
