This morning on @BrianLehrer @NYCMayor said there’d be police protection for NYC mosques but three of my neighborhood’s major mosques in Bed Stuy had none this morning.
All of our units are paying special attention to houses of worship and we’ve deployed additional resources such as Strategic Response Group, Counterterrorism and Community Affairs to mosques to ensure that the community not only is safe, but feels safe.
