In regard to the homicide of Francesco Cali: Last night around 9:17PM, Cali exited his Staten Island home, has a conversation with an individual then approx. 12 shots are fired, 6 striking the victim causing his demise. The investigation is ongoing- more details to be released.

The recent discovery of human remains in the @NYPD102Pct stems from a woman in Queens recently coming forward to detectives in regard to a dead body in a home from 40 years ago.
There were remains recovered and the investigation is ongoing and details are still preliminary.
