@NYPD28Pct officers responded to a call for an assault at 234 W 114 St When officers arrived a witness stated the suspect had a gun. When officers encountered the suspect & ordered him to show his hands, the suspect refused to comply with directions.Show this thread -
The suspect stated he had a gun & suddenly pointed an object towards officers. One of the initial responding officers discharged 3 rounds, striking the suspect once in the hip. Officers immediately called for EMS. All information is preliminary, the investigation is ongoing.
