Amazing, we have the Governor pushing to prohibit the release of perp mug shots and the Commissioner advocating to provide open view to all, including unsubstantiated cases against POs.

Why not put their personal address and family members info out there as well. It’s bad enough the city council and mayor are putting targets on cops backs.

Reasonable transparency makes sense. But too much info that might put the officer’s Identity or the safety of his/her family must be considered and redacted.

This is truly disgusting. The job is filled with nepotism and favoritism which allows high ranking NYPD executives to control pay raises, assignments, discipline and influence. Clean your house Commissioner before you start handing out scarlet letters to low level cops.
