I love stories like this. I have a similar experience. I got discharged from the emergency room with 2 kids at 3am, and NYPD saw me waiting for the bus, and offered me and the kids a ride home. I'm grateful, even tho I never got their names.

A majority of the contact time you guys have are dealing with criminal activity, but when you get to interact with the community its rewarding to be able to help! A lot of positive interactions like this happen everyday with police and are very appreciated!
