UPDATE (2/4): Tonight, at approximately 7:50 P.M.,
@NYPD47Pct anti-crime officers were conducting routine patrol on White Plains Rd, when they heard 3-5 gunshots. The Officers observed a male subject with a silver firearm and yelled “Police, Don’t Move, Drop the gun”Show this thread -
UPDATE (3/4): The male subject pointed his firearm at the officers. One of the officers discharged 1 round, striking the subject in the torso. Below is a picture of the firearm recovered at the scene.pic.twitter.com/UpsdklpUjs

(4/4) The subject ran approx. 200 feet & collapsed. He was apprehended by officers who rendered aid & requested an ambulance. We later found a male shot in the arm on White Plains Rd believed to have been involved in a dispute w/ the subject prior to the police shooting incident
