I think a better way to have phrased this would have been: “FREE Rides from the NYPD if you drink and drive. We pick up from any location where you are caught committing such a crime and provide you a safe ride straight to jail...”

Cool how about extending that same program to drivers that drive over the top of pedestrians or cyclists?

Accidents happen, Its not criminal to have an accident. Prove intent when a motorist hits a cyclist on an overcrowded street designed for cars, and then maybe an arrest can follow.
