how "tough" it is? I bet it's a lot easier during the marathon when all the placard abusers vehicles have been towed already- here's looking at you NYPD & FDNY parking abusers.pic.twitter.com/yxE81iBjQ8

Hmm, I used to race bikes with NYPD teammates, I don't think they'd agree riding 26 miles is "hard," but thanks for keeping us safe anyway!

I do. It's not tough at all when compared to running.

On a closed route? Relatively easy. When roads are open on a normal day &
@NYPDnews blocks damn near every#bikenyc lane...then it’s really damn difficult & scary. Not#visionzero. Cc:@NYPDONeillpic.twitter.com/LNcfbZKpxb

I know exactly how tough it is to ride 26+ miles on a bike. It isn't. I ride that much every day and consider myself incredibly lazy.pic.twitter.com/EVZSX68WkV

Get your officers out of their cars and onto foot and bike patrol more often and a) you wouldn’t be saying dumb stuff like this and b) citizens of all stripes would like you a lot more, guaranteed.
