Marijuana is still illegal in NYC but smoking in public or possessing up to 25 grams may result in a summons, rather than arrest.

NYC needs to legalize marijuana already and capitalize off of the profits. All these people crying that the city is going backwards already reside there. Colorado is a perfect example as to how a state can thrive by legalizing marijuana.

When we brought my daughter home from the hospital 3 years ago, the first thing she smelled was weed thanks to the 5 jackasses smoking in our building lobby. I have no issues with weed either but there's a time and a place.
