Great work by officers of @NYPDPSA2 who are keeping #Brooklyn safe for its residents. This loaded, illegal firearm was safely taken off the streets this weekend.

NY regulates the sale, possession, and use of firearms and ammunition in the state of NY. NY Civil Rights Law art. II, § 4 provides that " well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms cannot be infringed."
