I saw a house catch fire from fireworks. People illegally lighting them off a few years back, police and fire dept ultimately handled it, but yea the fireworks went up...came down burning, lit a dry bush on fire. Professional pyrotech shows are better ;)

Now I gotta drive all the way to Pennsylvania to explode some watermelons on July 4th.

1st of all our pets, 2nd our elderly and specially those with mental health issues like my dad until a few years ago when he was staying with me, he would go into a state of hysteria and screaming... with all these assholes blowing stuff up every year in the neighborhood, Inwood.

....never go anywere once dusk sets in, won't risk abuse by irresponsible people or drunk having "fun". It can blind or deafen you , maim you and children nearby can be killed it should only be for licensed people alone not society, it is a weapon to some of us ,can NYPD ban it?

be safe (safety first ) and then back-fill with fun, please for everyone. Don't do the first thing you think of, wait for "On second thought," just to be safe... It's worth it.
