  2. There are no snow days, and no working from home for these cops! A special thanks to the men & women of the NYPD who are out there working in Winter Storm — they’re away from their families, helping stranded motorists, & keeping all NYers safe tonight.

  7. Today I’m talking w/ NYC teens about their experiences w/ the NYPD & what they want for the future – especially their relationship w/ their cops. A difficult conversation at times, it’s critical for a truly safe city. Looking forward to hearing & learning from everyone.

  8. With the impending snow, so many people are heading home early & getting off the roads. And thousands of your NYPD cops are putting on extra layers & checking their gear, so they can be out there answering NYers’ calls for help & keeping them safe — as they’ve always done.

Already out on parole on a previous weapons charge, yesterday a Brooklyn man was found in possession of this illegal .380 handgun, 98 rounds of shotgun ammo, & drugs. Great work by Brooklyn North Narcotics & the Field Intelligence Team. Precision policing at work ⬇️

Last night, as shots rang out at an church, bystanders ran for their lives. Three heroic NYPD cops ran toward the gunfire & engaged the shooter. These officers didn’t do it for praise or recognition, they did it because it’s in their blood to protect — ALL NYers.
