  6. This morning, a group of individuals vandalized subway stations. We believe the same individuals will attempt to disrupt the evening commute in the subway by causing disorder, endangering commuters – and even attempting to physically assault our officers. IT WILL NOT BE TOLERATED

  7. A car stop can be one of the most dangerous situations for a cop. Strategic Response Group Officers Babiuch & Negri demonstrated that last night after they stopped a driver who they found to be in possession of an illegal, loaded handgun and large amount of narcotics. Nice job!

  8. More than 500 feet above Manhattan, Emergency Service Unit cops think nothing of their heroics as they save a distraught man who was attempting to jump. These officers are some of the world’s best first responders, who are prepared for anything. Nice job!

  12. This is Officer Katie Thyne of the Newport News Police Dept. Officer Thyne was killed in the line-of-duty as she protected her community — dragged by a car driven by a violent criminal. A brave police officer, we will Officer Thyne. Sending our prayers to her family.

  14. When two burglary suspects ran from cops in the early Tuesday morning they likely thought they’d get away. THEY THOUGHT WRONG. cops gave chase & called in our Aviation Unit equipped with infrared cameras. The suspects were quickly found & arrested. Well done!

  15. Last night’s incident in where a car collided with an NYPD vehicle and injured our cop is a reminder to all drivers that you must MOVE OVER when you see emergency lights. Everyone’s safety depends on it, and it’s the law.

  16. My thanks to Rockland County officials who honored Officers Mattera & Radziwon! Working with fellow cops, these Finest thought nothing of going in harm’s way Dec. 28 in Harlem to arrest an armed man wanted for attacking Jewish people in Monsey.

  17. Standing with our brothers and sisters in blue of the Dept. and the loved ones of Officers Tiffany Enriquez & Kaulike Kalama. These hero cops were both murdered yesterday — shot by a violent criminal as they approached a scene to help those in need.
