    Today was Bring Your Child To Work day. All these amazing children get to see what their parents do every day & a behind-the-scenes look at some of what the NYPD has to offer. We hope they enjoyed all the “cool toys” & presentations, we certainly enjoyed having them here

    Join us in wishing Officer Justin Vartanian a speedy recovery as he is released from the hospital after being shot in the line of duty yesterday afternoon. This is another example of the dangers officers encounter everyday.

    UPDATE: Marc Lamparello, 37, of New Jersey, has been charged with Attempted Arson, Reckless Endagerment and Trespassing.
