Yesterday, an armed robber stole a man’s cellphone on 3 Ave & 15 St. He then carjacked a woman on Hamilton Ave & Court St. He didn’t make it very far before Police Officers Difiglia and Juste caught him and recovered this firearm. #OneLessGun #NYPDProtecting

Great job by our midnight patrol officers apprehending a career burglar who has been arrested 6 times already in May & June for breaking into commercial establishments citywide. He was charged with 3 new burglary incidents which occurred last week & this week on Smith St.

Today we mourn the loss of one of our own. Police Officer Jason Rivera was murdered in the line of duty while responding to a domestic violence call. He was just 22 years old. We vow today, and always, to #NeverForget him and the ultimate sacrifice he made.

Yesterday our Day Tour Sector “Adam” received a 911 call about a man displaying a firearm in broad daylight. They quickly responded to the scene and after a thorough investigation were able to safely removed this firearm from our streets.🚨
This evening we honored PO Green & PO Morganbrown with the January Cop Of The Month Award. While assigned to a transit post, they were alerted that a man had fallen onto the subway tracks. With the help of a Good Samaritan, they pulled the man off the tracks and into safety!
