No thanks. There are so many bright, engaged, responsible, activist young adults in this country who are registered, canvassing and planning to vote. Let’s focus on them.

I agree. There are all types in all age groups, and focusing on goofs like these promotes generation bashing and is lazy journalism. I’m 36 - an elder millennial - and haven’t missed an election since I turned 18. So.

If they can’t be bothered to take a few minutes to vote and express themselves in a way that matters, i certainly can’t be bothered to take a few minutes to read what they think.

What a bunch of dumb fucks. “It takes too much time, my schedule is hectic.” People give their LIVES for the right to vote and they’re going to piss that right away to do what? What, exactly, is more important?

I'm actually nauseous after reading this. They are so disconnected, in some cases willfully, and shockingly apathetic and immature. Wake up people!

Political science major not interested enough to vote, Post office too difficult to figure out, too hard, why not via unsecured social media? sigh They've going to walk up sometime, look around and be scared at what they lost. Mommy and daddy won't be able to fix it. So screwed.

This makes me want to both cry and shake them. I guess the people who abstained or never voted didn’t learn anything from the current reign of terror. It’s VERY simple. We are realistically a two party system. Even if you see them as EVIL/LESS EVIL vote for LESS EVIL! Please!!!

Oh and after you vote if you have extra energy you can tackle fixing the two party bit or the electoral college overriding the popular vote thing. Please start caring and maybe someday we can change things! (If someday isn’t already cxled due to climate change fiery doom).

It seems like most or all of these folks are white. They might feel like they have less to lose. And they’d be right. It’s people in minority groups who have to suffer when the majority sits one (an election) out.
