You're quite right, I'm sure, about Medicare as it exists today. My point was that they're using the name of that very successful program to try and sell something quite different - "single payer," "national health care," etc. under the same rubric. It's bait and switch.

However you make a good point. M4A sounds good to the people but not the providers or governments as it creates deficits for both
